THE ONE AND ONLY APP THAT MEASURES AC WITHOUT ADDITIONAL HARDWARE. This innovative and very unique app is capable of sensing electrical phenomena directly, without requiring external hardware. The properties of a real alternating current are displayed using a Frequency Counter, a Spectrum Analyzer and an Oscilloscope. No other app exists that can do this!

What can it do?

➤ Measure a frequency very precisely (+/-0.1Hz)

➤ Analyzing a frequency spectrum of an alternating field

➤ Visualizing an alternating current on a basic oscilloscope display

This app does not substitute proper test instrumentation. But you will be amazed how well it works given the limited hardware - and how useful it can be if you are out in the field without any test equipment at hand but with your iPhone in the pocket. There are much better, real, solutions out there for testing and measuring, that connect to the iPhone. But all this additional hardware is of limited value if you do not have it with you.

What can it be used for?

There is much more information on our website, including videos. Here is just a short list:

Determining the state of a wire, adjusting small generator RPMs, determining the quality of an inverter, learning about measuring, finding wires in a wall (limited), locating emitters of alternating magnetic fields that cause interference, learning about magnetic fields caused by AC in your environment, monitoring the national grid (yes, you read that right)

... and much more. We are sure that some users will come up with new applications soon. How about measuring the idle RPMs of your old vehicle?

Who may find it useful?

In short, everyone who deals with electricity in any form, pros and hobbyist, engineers, electricians, students, HAM radio operators, HVAC technicians, lineman, hardware hackers, service technicians, home owners and more.

Extensive documentation is available, in-app and online, including application examples, videos, online technical support and more.
